Yes, I should have written to let you know the sad news. And I'm afraid it is about to get sadder. I understand that the decision has been taken to turn off the life support. It is such a dreadful loss.

I am ok, but finding it hard to imagine how to go on. But of course we will all go on. At this time community is so important.

Yes, I very much look forward to seeing you soon, and you are a very important member of the club of my life. I am hoping you are ok.

I am proud to be in your club of life and have you in mine. We are heartbroken. We have been teaching in Singapore and decided instead of going home today to go to Adelaide. So we are in the airport on our way. This time is too sad for words, but it is a reminder for me too about important connections. I will look forward to seeing you.
